Biography
Dr Nasrin Jahan, Master of Public Health and MSc in Behavioral Science, is a lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine for Public Health/Community Medicine since 2008. I have been working as a public health and social development specialist for more than three decades at national and international level in the arena of public health including reproductive health Community/social/gender development Project planning, monitoring and evaluation Training/teaching: curriculum development, assessment and teaching learning methods Research (specialized in qualitative research) As a part of the curriculum currently we are teaching MBBS students five slots (apprx 30 per slot) per year to conduct a cross-sectional study on general health which includes smoking, physical activity, women health, chronic diseases and mental health. Besides these we also do a specific topic - example, last slot we have done the study on vaccine.
